Fiat 8V : 1952

These beautiful two seater coupes were created to make a statement (Fiat was showing off).

Originally designed by Rapi, Fiat never intended to build many and on 114 "Otto Vus" (8Vs) were ever created.

The car was truly pioneering, with an all-new 2-litre v8 engine and a specially designed chassis. Its two carburetors and 105 bhp were later upgraded to three carburetors and 115 bhp.

The engineering combined with the wind-tunnel-development aerodynamics created a car that could reach 118 mph. Impressive for its time.
